Review by hotel critic

Burg Blens is a gem in the heart of the Eifel region, offering self-catering accommodations that effortlessly blend modern comforts with Bavarian charm. The apartments are spacious, with fully equipped kitchens perfect for preparing your own home-cooked meals. My family and I enjoyed the convenience of the dishwasher and microwave, making mealtime a breeze. The property boasts amenities like a terrace and a garden, inviting guests to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. We spent evenings on the private patio, enjoying the mountain views and the sounds of nature. The under-floor heating throughout the apartment kept us snug and cozy, even on chillier nights.During our stay, we explored the picturesque village of Blens and ventured out on hiking trails right from our doorstep. For those looking to venture further, popular activities like cycling and fishing are easily accessible in the area. The proximity to attractions like the Leopold Hoesch Museum and Cologne added an extra layer of cultural enrichment to our experience. With free in-room WiFi and flat-screen satellite TVs, we stayed connected while unwinding in the well-appointed apartments. The safety features and convenient location near supermarkets and major cities like Cologne and Aachen added to the overall convenience. Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled getaway, this charming property offers the perfect base for your Eifel escapades. We look forward to returning and creating more memories in this idyllic setting.
